What is Hate Crime?

A crime is deemed as Hate Crime when it is committed against a person or property and it is motivated by the offender's prejudice against a person because of their:

• Race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality or national origins 
• Religion
• Gender or gender identity
• Sexual orientation
• Disability
